DREAM Scholarship

PURPOSE:

Foster creative thinking and generating ideas to make city of Oroville a better place for living, business, and tourism.

AMOUNT:

$5000 scholarship for one current Oroville High School senior student for the first quarter/semister of college.

​

REQUIREMENT:

Interested students are required to fill the application below along
with a 2 page (1000 words max) essay on the following prompt.

​

"My dream for Oroville is ...."

​

TIPS:

The prompt is open ended, primarily to make room for creativity.
Think about problems that hinder housing, business, and tourism.
Persuade us with creative solutions to solve those problems.

You can think short term 5 years or long term 10 years.

May 24th 2024

NOTIFICATION:

Awardee will be notified at Senior Awards Night (May 31st)
